Deposits: ASSU ePay vs. Eventbrite
Deposits allow your student organization to add funds to its unrestricted 2800 account. These funds typically come from revenue or reimbursements that are not tied to University or ASSU grants. Typically deposits are made through ASSU ePay however some types of deposits can be done through Eventbrite.
Student organizations may make deposits for the following purposes:
Revenue from sales (e.g., merchandise or bake sales)
Funding from external sponsorships (e.g., support from outside companies or organizations) For more information see: https://sse.frontkb.com/en/articles/5865985
Clearing remaining funds from an advance payment (if extra money remains after your group’s event or purchase). Note: If the advance payment was originally issued from ASSU funds, any remaining balance must be returned to the same funding account, not the general 2800 account — unless the original advance was drawn from the 2800 account, in which case it should be returned there.
