Gifts, Prizes, Swag, and Merch

Gifts, prizes, branded items, and swag given at any one instance valued at more than $100 must be tracked in order to be reimbursed through GrantEd. This applies even if merch is going to members of the VSO.

Collection of the recipient(s) name, address, and US tax identification number is required in one of the following ways:

1. Print an IRS W-9 form and turn it in to the ASSU/SSE office in Old Union.

2. Have recipients register through the secure vendor registration form.

A reimbursement/advance request or credit card reconciliation that contains orders meeting this criterion will not be approved until verified that we have received the recipient's tax information.
