Covers costs for maintenance, purchasing, or rental of equipment. Funding is based on itemization and discretion, provided there is no free option. Storage must be secured outside of student dorms or housing. If building an item with multiple parts, VSOs should include a spreadsheet itemizing each component and its cost. Listed below are line items and instances in which you can apply for funding with the Equipment account.

Note: All equipment purchased with GSC funds belong to the GSC

- Covers equipment purchases for group use.

- Only specialized equipment (e.g., lab goggles, circuit boards) will be funded.

- Event-related equipment available in the Equipment Lending Library will not be funded.

- Covers equipment rentals for group use.

- Borrow from other groups or refer to the Equipment Lending Library/other free sources before requesting funds from ASSU.

- Covers costs for repairing and maintaining equipment.

- Funded based on itemization and discretion, provided there is no free option.
