As the Financial Officer (FO) of a VSO, managing funding requests and modifications through GrantEd is a key part of your role. Whether you are securing funds for an event, transferring funds from account to account, or repurposing allocated funds, mastering the use of GrantEd is essential. Disclaimer:
ASSU funding should be considered a last resort for VSOs. Before applying, you must exhaust all other on-campus funding opportunities. The money granted by ASSU comes directly from the student activities fee, which is paid by students rather than provided by the university. To responsibly manage these funds, ensure that other available resources have been pursued before making a request through ASSU.
